Application

3-Chloro-2-Hydroxypropanesulfonic Acid Sodium Salt has hydroxyl and sulfonic group, it is a function monomer for synthesis polymer, as well as Pharmaceutical intermediates. it can react with amid amine to synthesis amphoteric surfactants with sulfonic group. The synthesized amphoteric surfactant is high active with good saline tolerance. In personal care, it can be used as mild surfactant in personal care application, also as chemical flooding surfactant to reduce interfacial tension dramatically. the In the condition of alkaline, the CHPS-NA can etherificate with starch to synthesize 2 – hydroxy – 3 – sulfonic acid sodium propyl ether starch with sulfonic group. The starch derivatives with sulfonic group is an excellent drilling fluids loss additives.
