According to the data monitoring of SunSirs, the dichloromethane market rose sharply again this week (12.10-12.17). As of December 17, the average price of dichloromethane in Shandong was 5,575 RMB/ton, up 11.56% from 4,997 RMB/ton on last Friday.
According to SunSirs, domestic methane chloride production dropped again this week, and the supply side continued to tighten. Zhejiang Quhua’s 300,000-ton/year methane chloride plant was shut down for maintenance until the end of this month; Jiangsu Meilan’s 200,000- ton/year methane chloride production line was overhauled in turn on the 15th; In addition, the Jiangxi Liwen and Guangxi Jinyi devices have maintenance plans in the later period, and the supply side is expected to be tight again in the later period, and the market offer is higher.Although the price of raw methanol rose slightly this week, it was still low, and the cost was still weak. According to SunSirs, as of December 17, the price of methanol was 2,632 RMB/ton, an increase of 0.77% from last Friday’s 2,612 RMB/ton.
Methane chloride data analysts of SunSirs believe that although the cost side is lower, the supply side is tightening again, and the rigid demand is stable, it is expected that dichloromethane will continue to rise in the later period.
