Price trend

　　According to the data monitoring of SunSirs, the chloroform market declined slightly this week (7.12-7.16). The price of chloroform at the beginning of the week was 4,377 RMB/ton, and the price of chloroform on the weekend was 4,365 RMB/ton, a slight decrease of 0.29% overall.

　　Analysis review

　　This week, the overall operating rate of domestic methane chloride plants did not change much.

　　The price of raw liquid chlorine was at a low level, the price of methanol was consolidating within a narrow range, and the cost support weakened. According to SunSirs, as of July 16, the price of methanol was 2,535 RMB/ton, a slight change from 2,530 RMB/ton at the beginning of the week; the mainstream ex-factory price of liquid chlorine for tank trucks in Shandong area was reported to be around 1,050 RMB/ton.

　　Although it has entered continuous high temperature weather, the sales of refrigerants have not increased significantly recently. Affected by the increase in refrigerant inventory, the maintenance of refrigerant installations increased, and the support for chloroform weakened.

　　Market outlook

　　Methane chloride data analysts of SunSirs believe that the cost side remains low at the stage, coupled with the weakening support from the demand side, the chloroform market is expected to weaken in the later period.
