4,4′-Diamino-dioctahedral methane (referred to as PACM) has three thermodynamically distinct stereoisomers with opposite, cis-trans, and cis-cis configurations. Diamino-dioctahedral methane is an important aliphatic diamine, mainly used for the preparation of aliphatic dioxahedral methane diisocyanate (H12MDI) or directly used as a curing agent for epoxy resins.

Diamino dicyclohexylmethane can be used to process various environmentally friendly polyurethane coatings and adhesives with good transparency and resistance to yellowing. The epoxy resin cured by diamino dicyclohexylmethane has excellent thermal stability, dielectric properties, solvent resistance, mechanical properties, as well as excellent optical properties and weather resistance, and can be used in fields such as damping materials, optical materials, coatings, engineering plastics, and adhesives.
