Brief introduction.

DABCO BX405 catalyst is a highly efficient polyurethane amine catalyst that strongly catalyzes the reaction between polyol and isocyanate and promotes the formation of urethane esters, thus shortening the post-curing time of polyurethane foam.

DABCO BX405 catalyst offers better post-cure performance than POLYCAT 8 (dimethylcyclohexylamine DMCHA), with catalytic activity comparable to that of POLYCAT 8, as well as better mold release than POLYCAT 8, and flow and K-factor as good as POLYCAT 8. DABCO BX405 can be used in a wide range of rigid polyurethane foam applications DABCO BX405 can be used in various applications of rigid polyurethane foam, such as polyurethane pipe insulation, polyurethane insulation boards, and is particularly suitable for electrical refrigerator formulations.
